Blake Sorensen, Owner & Lead Restoration Technician

Blake founded Wendell Restoration in 2006 after cutting his teeth on commercial loss sites across North Texas. He holds IICRC certifications in water damage restoration and applied structural drying, and he still runs the psychrometer on job sites himself, which is the device that measures moisture in the air and tells us when a room is actually dry, not just dry to the touch. Ask him about the time a Fort Worth homeowner called about a “small leak” that turned out to be a broken supply line behind a second-floor bathroom wall. Blake’s approach to every job is the same: explain what he sees, put the price in writing, and start the work only after you agree. He lives in Fort Worth and spends his off-hours chasing his two sons around the Trinity Trails.

Marcus T., Senior Technician

Marcus has been with Wendell since 2014 and is the person Blake sends when a job requires figuring out what’s actually going on behind the drywall. Devon is the one who double-checks that every piece of equipment from Dri-Eaz, Phoenix, and XPOWER is placed and running correctly before the crew leaves the site. He is quiet on the job but more than willing to answer your questions, and he is currently studying for his mold remediation certification. Outside of work, he coaches youth soccer in northeast Fort Worth.
